That sums up my weekend with the girls at the lake - but I wouldn’t have changed a thing :)

I spend all week in an office. Sometimes I don’t even know if its been raining or sunny outside. But when the weekend rolls around, you won’t find me anywhere contained by four walls.

My girl friends and I have a new tradition of hiking every weekend. It is also great preparation for my upcoming Half Dome trip in Yosemite.

What did everyone do this weekend? My girlfriends and I drove to Auburn Saturday and spent the night at Lake of the Pines. It was a wonderful weekend getaway. I was afraid one night was not going to be enough time to actually relax and take in the scenery, but even though it would have been nice to stay longer, the time I spent there with my five close friends was well spent and absolutely refreshing. Note to self: take more short vacations (and long ones, when work permits)!
