What did you wish for this year? Still clueless what to give someone? 

Here are a few things from my wish list:

1. Date Stamp. If you’re an organizational dork like me, this will excite you.

2. A good read. I asked for this book in particular. 

3. An espresso maker. For that coffee lover in your life.

4. Go Pro Camera. For the adventurous one in the family.

Apparently I am not the only person who can’t use up all the fresh herbs I buy at once. Here’s an idea: Put your leftover herbs in an ice tray. Pour olive oil, and freeze!

We come back from vacation bearing gifts for our close friends, family, co-workers, etc. Chocolates, tee shirts and key chains are among the typical purchases. Well, here is an interesting souvenir to bring home.

An Australian couple served a cheese wedding cake. What a brilliant idea!

Cheese is the perfect ending to any meal. My ideal evening always includes cheese - so why exclude my [future] wedding?

Take a classic and make it new again. There is no better example than grilled cheese.

So you might have outgrown the all American cheddar melted with half a stick of butter on sourdough, but that doesn’t mean to give up on this traditional wonder.

Suggestions I have recently tried: - Bree with sliced apples -mozzarella, tomato & avocado - Gruyere with pesto

The possibilities are endless as long as you have a creative mind and an empty stomach.

Look at these creative photographs people took with the moon. My favorite one is the painter - what about you?

Etsy seller missquitecontrary sells her fine art photographs printed onto vintage dictionary pages. You can try your hand at doing this yourself — just be sure to use archival inks and find an old dictionary or encyclopedia with thick pages.

I think it would be really neat to take this idea and make it more personal. Perhaps a photo you took yourself printed on a newspaper article, favorite book page, something you wrote, etc.

The 2nd Friday in December. When people realize that Christmas is only 2 more Fridays away and they have lots of sh*t to make happen. Good luck readers!

This is such a brilliant idea! Take a fancy cupcake pan and place cookie dough on top. Bake as usual and then carefully pick up (after cooled). Now you have cookie cups that you can fill with cream, ice cream, pudding, or anything else! This is sure please a crowd!

Make your holiday wish list a decorative ornament. Hang and admire. And fun to look back on!

Find pennies from important dates - such as your wedding, date of birth, etc - and use as key chain. Adding a dog tag with a short message adds the perfect touch to a thoughtful gift.
