I get a little OCD with my palette.
Watch this inspiring lecture given by Philosopher Alan Watts. Here is my short synopsis of the video:
What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life?
Forget the money.
Because if you say that getting money is the most important thing, you will spend your life doing things you don’t like in order to go on living a life full of things you don’t like doing - which is stupid!
After all, if you really do like what you’re doing, it doesn’t matter. You will eventually become a master of it. The only way to become a master of something is when you’re really with it. So don’t worry so much.
See what we’re doing. We’re bringing up our children and educating them to live the same sort of lives we are living in order that they may justify themselves and find satisfaction in bringing up their children and their children to do the same thing. So its all just rech and vomit, it never gets there.
Which makes this one question so important: What do you desire?
(via trademark-strategy)

What are you hoping to have the freedom to do in the future? What is holding you back from doing it now?
I hope to travel more and I am working on making that happen as soon as possible. It is not so much the lack of money holding me back, but timing and courage. I admit I am nervous about embarking on oversea adventures by myself. Also, I feel as though I need some time, to prepare and research, before taking off.
Happy Wednesday! Here is some inspiration and motivation to get you through the rest of the week - enjoy!
